Raymond has worked in the countertop Industry for over three decades and has held numerous positions; the last as Vice President of Manufacturing at a previous countertop company. In October of 2009, Raymond incorporated CounterTek and opened the doors to his new business on January 1, 2010 by hiring four employees. Today, the company employs fifty people whose personalities and work ethic contribute to CounterTek’s continuous growth. This growth has led to multiple awards including: “America’s Fastest Growing Companies,” “Job’s First Award,” “Governor’s Impact Award,” and “Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies” to name a few. Raymond is an alumnus of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program. In this formative program he gained a large amount of high-quality knowledge in the small business sector. The company actively supports the local community, along with multiple charities, including St. Joseph’s Indian School. Raymond’s other passions include tournament bass fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Raymond is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Kim Roux

Kim has 24 years’ experience in the countertop industry. Previously Kim was the purchaser for the raw materials used by CounterTek. Kim is now the majority owner and the corporate secretary. Kim helped develop and promote CounterTek’s culture in generosity and family/work balance, she also directs the charities and community outreach for CounterTek.

Kim has a passion for reading and helping others. Kim spends as much time as possible with the grandchildren.

Jonathan Scudder

CFO

Drawing on more than a decade of experience in monetary and project management, equity research, and financial reporting, Jonathan Scudder, CPA, CMA, joined CounterTek as the chief financial officer in 2013. In this capacity, he manages the financial structure of the organization on a global scale, including continuous analysis of company balance sheets, restructuring of credit facilities, and the investment of excess cash. Additionally, he aims to improve shareholder value and manage corporate risk on an international level. An esteemed asset of CounterTek, Mr. Scudder maintains responsibility for initiating and maintaining strategic planning and development, fosters close team relationships and liaises with attorneys, certified public accountants, investment bankers, and commercial bankers to promote operating company and real estate acquisition opportunities.

Prior to starting with CounterTek, Mr. Scudder gained valuable expertise with Deloitte & Touche, LLP as a senior accountant between 2011 and 2013. Earlier, he worked as a senior accountant with Pancerella & Associates, LLC, where he oversaw monthly accounting records for more than 30 clients, compiled financial statements, and handled tax notice issues for the entire firm. In 2008, Mr. Scudder served as a staff accountant for Smoker Sisak LLP and as a financial advisor for First Investors Corporation. His first roles in the field were that of an equity research intern for Credit Agricole Securities and a finance and compliance department intern for PLANCO.

Just before obtaining his position with First Investors, Mr. Scudder earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008. Ten years later, he completed his Master of Business Administration through Villanova University. He retains his professional alignment with the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants. In the near future, Mr. Scudder aims to achieve personal growth within technical applications and leadership.
